Marcela Moren Salerno is the Spanish Community Liaison for New York State at CMC: Foundation for Change, where she is dedicated to expanding the Invitation to Change (ITC) approach within Spanish-speaking communities. She has facilitated Spanish-language support groups across the United States and Latin America, helping families navigate substance use challenges with their loved ones.

Marcela earned a BBA in General Business and Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, she brings a strong background in mentoring refugee youth, supporting first-generation Latino students through the college admissions process, and partnering with parents and educators to expand access to educational and community resources. Additionally, Marcela spent over 19 years in the international sales and marketing space focused primarily on the US, Canadian and Latin American regions.

Marcela shares a deep connection to CMC: Foundation for Change, having begun her journey as a volunteer—driven by a strong belief in making the ITC approach accessible to Spanish-speaking families.
