Camila Medeiros

Board Member

Camila currently serves at The Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA), a treatment center dedicated to adolescents aged 13-18 and their families. AWA’s primary focus is to assist teenagers in addressing the root causes of mental health challenges that underlie emotional struggles, high-risk behaviors, and substance use disorder. In her role, Camila is leading the program’s expansion into higher levels of care and new geographical locations.

Prior to that, Camila held the position of Principal and Co-Founder at Viva Partners, an investment fund focused on acquiring a purpose-driven business within the behavioral health sector. In her role, she assessed several organizations in the space and led the acquisition of AWA.

Previously, she spent 7 years at McKinsey & Company. Camila successfully led the post-acquisition integration of Aberkyn, a venture specializing in change management, leadership development, and large cultural transformations, boasting a network of over 200 coaches and facilitators worldwide. While at McKinsey, she also worked as a project manager advising leaders of Fortune 500 companies, primarily focusing on People and Organizational matters. This encompassed overseeing change management initiatives during mergers and designing and implementing training and performance management systems for organizations across various industries.
