Talia Ariss, PhD

Community Implementation Manager

Talia Ariss is CMC: Foundation for Change’s (CMC:FFC) Community Implementation Manager. She earned a Master’s degree with a focus on Global Mental Health and Trauma at Teachers College, Columbia University and her Doctoral degree in Clinical-Community Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Talia completed her postdoctoral training at the Center of Excellence in Substance Addiction Treatment and Education, an Interprofessional Fellowship at the Seattle VA, Puget Sound Health Care System. One of Talia’s passions lies in translating research findings into practical solutions that can be used to help families and their loved ones. In her role at CMC:FFC, she aims to leverage her expertise in global mental health, community engagement, and addiction science to further the foundation’s mission, drive clinical improvements, and empower families in supporting loved ones facing substance use challenges.
