Trainings
As clinicians and researchers, we have been fighting to increase understanding and expand evidence-based treatment options for substance users and their families for over 30 years. Our trainings and materials combine this experience with thousands of hours spent working with communities across the country.
Services
Training in The Invitation to Change Approach® connects participants with evidence-based communication, self-care, and behavioral strategies. We provide the following services both as open-registration events and as custom contracted workshops for organizations.
Professional Trainings
Our professional trainings provide practical, evidence-based skills to those working with loved ones affected by substance use.
This training can be tailored to a wide range of professional audiences, including clinical psychologists, recovery coaches, MDs, social workers, and certified counselors.
Trainings for Loved Ones
Bring a new understanding of substance use into your daily life. This training focuses on tools and concepts that will strengthen your ability to support your loved one through change.
Trainings for Peer Support Organizations
A training in the ITC will equip your team with the skills they need to support community members impacted by substance use. These events can be adapted to meet a wide range of organizational needs.
Currently available as a contracted service only. No open registration events available for 2021.
